Founded in 2016, Horyal Development Organization has been a beacon of hope for marginalized groups across Somali, Ethiopia. With a focus on key areas such as education, health, or environmental conservation, we have impacted over hundreds of thousand lives and continue to grow our reach every day
OUR VISION
HORYAL envisions a society where women, young girls and other vulnerable members are fully empowered and capacitated with all the necessary knowledge and opportunities to lead, plan, participate and drive sustainable health, development and food security initiatives, utilizing local resources, innovative solutions, and existing community mechanisms to create lasting change.
OUR MISSION
To educate, advocate for and provide opportunities that builds and enhances the capacity of women, young girls and young boys, equipping them with all the skills and resources to assert their rights, access quality healthcare, and lead transformative food security and economic initiatives in their communities. We aim to leverage local knowledge, existing community structures, and innovative approaches to drive sustainable and inclusive development in vulnerable communities
